EXAMINATIONS
SB Dance offers pupils the opportunity to take
exams with the U.K.A exam board. Exams can be
taken from age 3 and each individual is advised
which exam level should be taken. Ballet exams are
taken twice a year along with the opportunity to
take an 'Around the World' exam which means
learning folk dances from countries across the
globe. As pupils progress through the grades they
will then have the opportunity to take a student
teaching certificate. Exams cost a small fee and
pupils must be neatly presented and know the
exam routines well. Success in exams is rewarded
with a certificate or medal for the pupil to keep
and entry to the next exam level.
